NAHEC (Northern Area Health Education Center) also provides opportunities for students to connect to careers in the field of healthcare. This includes job shadow placements, a quick self-assessment, interest inventory, programs available leading to a career in healthcare and much more. NAHEC is one of nine centers in New York State offering statewide capacity for addressing healthcare workforce needs.
